About Me
Hey! I’m Arian — a 24-year-old programmer, problem solver, and overall high-energy human. I love building things, solving puzzles, and pushing myself to create cool stuff. But for a long time, I was stuck in a loop that didn’t feel like me.
I started smoking weed in my late teens. What began as occasional fun turned into a daily habit. For 4 years, it became my go-to for calming down, tuning out, and making life feel “less intense.” As someone who sometimes feels like they’re thinking 100 thoughts at once (thanks, maybe-ADHD), weed felt like a solution.
But over time, I realized it was quietly robbing me. My focus, energy, drive — the parts of me that once felt sharp — started feeling dull. I wasn’t building as much. I wasn’t finishing what I started. I wasn’t excited like I used to be. And the truth hit me hard: I was using weed to avoid dealing with life, not to enhance it.
So I made a decision. On Day 0, I quit. I didn’t just want to stop smoking — I wanted to rebuild. Reconnect with who I really am. And that’s why I created this blog. It’s part journal, part self-accountability tool, and part open window for anyone else who’s on the same journey.
Every day, for 360 days, I’m writing a post. I’ll share what I’m going through — honestly. The cravings, the mood swings, the victories, the boredom, the joy. I’m not here to pretend I’ve figured it all out. I’m here to show up. Every single day.
Outside of this journey, I’m a curious and creative person. I love tech, building tools, learning new frameworks, hacking things together, and writing clean code (well, mostly clean). I'm passionate about designing systems, solving real-world problems, and making life better — for myself and for others.
If you’ve ever felt stuck in a habit, or just felt like you were living at 50% when you knew you had more in you — you’re not alone. This blog is a space for honesty, growth, and second chances. If any of it resonates with you, feel free to follow along, share your story, or just read in silence. You’re welcome here.
This is me. No filters. Just real life, day by day.
